Week 17 / Day 98 : Summary

A good workout week, the highlight being the fact that I got in a good workout with the new wetsuit.  I think I will definitely be using it for my sprint tri coming up next month.  My first thought that any gains I might get from the wetsuit would be outstripped by the time it would take to get it off, but I had no problem getting the suit off in a few seconds after it was wet.

Tonight’s workout was P90X and the Core Synergistics program.  If there is one thing that I have heard time and time again about triathlon training is that you need to have a strong core.  CS definitely does a good job of working the core.

Also picked up a hydration system for my aero bars that will hold about 32 oz. and make drinking while riding much easier.  It will be a must for the 100 mile ride coming up on Saturday.  Really excited about the ride for sure!
